WORLD BOOK DAY
We are thrilled to share with you the amazing activities we did with our Secondary Education students to commemorate World Book Day this year. It was a day full of imagination, creativity and, of course, lots of fun.
The students of 1st and 2nd years of Secondary were able to make the most of their creative talents by participating in a bookmark workshop and by creating beautiful roses inspired by the book “The Little Prince”. They also took part in a literary treasure hunt to find the “story cubes” hidden around the Assembly Hall. They then used the characters, places and actions found in these cubes to write stories and challenge their imagination.
The students of 3rd and 4th years of Secondary delved into the world of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with an exciting escape room in the library. They solved puzzles, cracked codes, and worked as a team to escape and succeed on this literary adventure. It was a challenging experience that encouraged teamwork and problem solving, with a special sweet prize for the winners!
Finally, our 4th year Secondary students participated in an enriching creative writing workshop given by our esteemed teacher and writer Felipe Cambón. It was a unique opportunity to explore their creativity, hone their writing skills and receive guidance from an expert in the literary field.
Many thanks to all IB1 and 1st year Baccalaureate students for their invaluable help in organising this day.
May the magic of reading be with us always!
