WORKSHOPS IN SECONDARY EDUCATION

Reading Club

Every Monday during the 12:00 o’clock break, our school library becomes a space for book lovers who come together for our Reading Club to enjoy the great universal classics with our teacher Iris Terrados. This term we have started with A Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, and the students are enjoying discussions and analysis of this work that invites us to reflect on the future and society. A great opportunity to discover the gems of literature together!

Creative Writing Workshop

In this workshop, which takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays during the 12 o’clock break in the Geoffrey Chaucer classroom, we learn new narrative techniques from our teacher Suranji Kaburugamuwa, in addition to creating texts and stories. This encourages our students’ artistic freedom and allows them to develop their creativity and imagination, to think and write in a different way. The workshop helps students to better structure their ideas, improve their written expression and be original. We invite all students to join us and explore the wonderful world of writing with us!
