2nd year of Primary Project

Here you have a summary of the project that the students of 2nd year of Primary Education have been working on

The Hogar Betania project has allowed the students to work in a transversal and fun way to learn about and support this non-profit organisation that helps people in situations of social exclusion.

When we started this project, we proposed to our students that we could help this association and together we decided how to do it. Among other initiatives, the students made a deal with the school proprietors whereby they would match the amount the students were able to save on the power and water bill in order to buy food for Hogar Betania.

As you know, a picture is worth a thousand words and here you have a video of our students explaining how they accomplished their goal

1.-The day we went to Mercadona.

Here you have a video summarising the students’ outing to the supermarket to buy foodstuffs for Hogar Betania, using the money they had raised. This was a very satisfying experience for our students, who were accompanied by Baccalaureate student.

2.-Our visit to Hogar Betania

The day finally arrived and all our efforts were rewarded. Here you have a summary of our visit to Hogar Betania, where our students were able to personally deliver the food they had purchased.
