A purple ribbon on our logo

During this whole week the school logo on our web page will carry a purple ribbon

This is due to the fact that Wednesday is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and throughout the week there will be a variety of acts to raise awareness amongst the students in relation to this serious problem that affects our society. According to UN statistics, as many as 70% of all women suffer violence in their lifetime.

We believe that these issues should form a fundamental part of the education of future generations from a very early age, in the hope that this violation of Human Rights, which has unfortunately become part of our daily lives, may be eradicated
