Cultural Week Talk Featured
On the occasion of the closure of the upcoming Cultural Week, we would like to announce the presence of members of the Trilema foundation. This organisation is run by Carmen Pellicer (http://fundaciontrilema.org/carmen-pellicer) and will be speaking on “The new challenges faced by education in the XXIst Century”.
The talk will deal with interesting topics such as the challenges faced by schools today (updating education, how investigations on how the brain learns affect education, what outside pressures are there on schools and what implications do they have on learning design, as well as other issues of special relevance to education) and the objective of teaching in a different way (the evolution of the concept of intelligence, designing the learning process vs. transmitting knowledge, active methodologies: contributions to learning and challenges for their systematic introduction to the classroom, accompanying the personalised development of the students, a challenge for family-school collaboration, among other issues).
This talk in scheduled to take place at our centre on Friday, April 24th, at 12:30.
We look forward to seeing you.
