Investigation on intensive livestock farming
The students of 3rd year Secondary A carried out an investigation in Geography class on intensive livestock farming using the “post-it” technique.
The students, divided into two groups, have to complete the silhouette of a corpse on the floor using post-its with information on this subject (intensive livestock farming).
Once completed, the groups and post-its are exchanged and the opposing team has to classify the written ideas on a mural with three sections: cemetery – dollar – light bulb.
The cemetery indicates the environmental disadvantages.
The dollar, the economic benefits.
The light bulb, the general ideas.
Afterwards, the ideas will be discussed in a debate circle to assess the results of their conclusions.
