IX Inter-School Chess Tournament “Estepona vive sus calles”
Last Friday, March 24th, 20 students from our school, from 3rd year Primary to 2nd
year Baccalaureate, participated in the IX Inter-School Chess Tournament “Estepona vive sus calles” (Estepona lives its streets). A total of 200 students participated in the tournament held at the Plaza del Ajedrez, thanks to the organisation of the Municipal Chess School.
Our students enjoyed competing in teams and obtained a meritorious 2nd place in the tournament for Primary students, in which 14 schools participated. Our Secondary students also placed 2nd in their tournament, in which 6 institutes participated.
