Learning Corners

Learning Corners
Working in learning corners in the stage of Preschool Education is an educational strategy that encourages active and participatory learning, allowing children to discover the world around them through exploration, interaction, and play. Each area or corner is designed to encourage a specific type of activity or play. For example, there is a reading corner, a building block corner, an art and creativity corner, a creative play corner, a logical and mathematics corner, among others. Children are free to choose which of these corners they wish to participate in, and teachers act as facilitators to support their learning.
The benefits of working in learning corners in Preschool Education are numerous. It allows children to develop social skills, such as teamwork and communication, while encouraging autonomous decision-making. It also promotes cognitive, emotional, and motor development, as children explore and experiment at their own pace. In addition, this methodology adapts to the individual needs and interests of each child, which facilitates more meaningful and enjoyable learning.
