We visited the MMAC Foundation
Last week our 2nd year of Secondary classes had the opportunity to visit the NMAC Foundation in Vejer de la Frontera. This open-air museum has works of art set in a beautiful pine forest, thus allowing visitors to enjoy art and nature together.
The students did a treasure hunt with clues referring to the meaning of the sculptures and then an art workshop inspired by the unique rooms in the museum’s reception (connected by circular holes and decorated with oriental patterns).
The result was an enjoyable day that brings to mind the Latin phrase “mens sana in corpore sano”, which is even truer when enjoyed in good company.
