Visit to Airbus – Seville 3rd year of Secondary
Last Thursday, November 22nd, the students of 3rd year of Secondary Education visited the installations of the aviation company AIRBUS in Seville
During this interesting visit, our students were able to get a first-hand view of different stages of complex technological procedures such as the final assembly of an aircraft. More specifically, they saw the AIRBUS A400M and AIRBUS C295 aircraft models.
After passing the security check to access the factory, which follows military protocol, the students split into two groups and carried out a tour of the assembly line. At all times they were accompanied by specialised staff that, with the assistance of interactive screens and explanatory videos, described the past, present and future of this multinational aeronautical company. Among other activities, the students had the opportunity to stop in a mock cargo hold of the A400M aircraft model and subsequently try out some virtual reality glasses to visualise the factory assembly line.
To finish their visit, our students carried out an entertaining aircraft assembly workshop using polystyrene pieces. Have a look at some of the pictures we took.
